They were both on Broadway. To actors not used to being on Broadway, it's an unquestionable sign of success.
It might not have been a great play, but it was worthy. Harris was wonderful and Ivey pulled one of the best laughing fits I've ever seen a character have. Their performances were indeed vivid. I remember having a long talk with a friend about which of those two parents would have been tougher to survive but, unfortunately, I did not realize Anthony Rapp had been the younger son until I read his accusation the other day. |
