I saw it in previews. I had a crush on Ed Harris at the time and went primarily because he was in it. He didn't disappoint, but Judith Ivey was a knockout as the mother, the kind of performance that had the audience laughing and crying. I remember the kids being excellent, although the names didn't stick with me.

I saw it in previews and one or two actors (Swoosie Kurtz for sure) from the aborted musical "Scandal" were in attendance wearing t-shirts with that show's name on it.
