| On this, the day of Ben's last performance as Evan Hansen, I wanted to give him a major shout out. This was (is) one of the most vocally challenging male roles in recent memory, and this kid's goal was to essentially play every performance, eight shows a week, and for many many months he pretty much did just that. The fact that he eventually wore down a bit and had to limit himself to (I think) six a week in no way minimizes his work effort and dedication. So congratulations and thanks to Ben S. Platt on a truly brilliant run. He deserved all of the acclaim he received. #YouWillBeMissed. |
