| Ah, I get it. Back in the day, the orchestra floor wasn't reached via steps of any kind. It was like entering the Jacobs or Cort, with the house proper right there through the doors. But the lobby was raked, rather like the Palace (used to be?). Maybe they've lowered the entrance. Interesting. |
