I was at the Sunday matinee too. I'll only address the comment you make about the ending: "only Mr. Lundy appears out of the mist." I don't know where you were sitting but Kelli O'Hara was there to welcome(and embrace)Tommy back to Brigadoon, as were many of the villagers.
I've rarely seen any revival--at Encores or elsewhere--where both the director and musical director so DID trust the show. |
