| Yes. I thought Ken Wantanabe was just terrible and mangled every witty line in the show. I love Kelli OHara but thought she was miscast in this. I thought the direction was flat throughout, a real comedown from South Pacific and Light in the Piazza. Somehow the moments that always give me goosebumps didn't do it this time. Small House of Uncle Thomas lacked the elegance and precision. I felt the same way about the recent LL Bean Fiddler |
