I have not seen her Sally on NT Live but saw her twice in FOLLIES (and going back 2 more times before it closes).
She is extraordinary in the role and it bears no resemblance to her portrayal of Rose, nor her brilliant Martha in the recent "Virginia Wolf" revival.
All of those characters are a bit "off" in the mental health department. The comparisons end there as she is quite a brilliant singing actress.
I hope you can see this FOLLIES in some, way, shape or form.
