Alex Newell brings down the house with Mama Will Provide, which sounds like is in the original key, but not sure.
You know, I originally thought it was in the original key - but it's actually a half step down. (I find as I get older, my perfect pitch perception has gone sharp lol.) But it's still damn impressive when you take into account that he's singing in the song's original female range (i.e. not an octave down as a tenor would). And yes, it's spectacular! |
