magnificent voice, man, artist, and talent. It was a gift for me to hear him in Don Carlos and War and Peace, MET 2002
perhaps sometimes in eternity he will discuss 'poperetta' with those who adapted Borodin and Rachmaninoff as Kismet and Anya |
