The heart is a curious, frustrating, bizarre, and illogical organ. So is the brain.

So are teenagers in love.

Hopeless love at first sight is a story trope for a very good reason. I don't find this part of the story far-fetched at all. We'd like to believe otherwise, but love doesn't always make sense. And loving someone you cared for for days and days and poured your heart into save--and who you believe was literally sent by the gods to change your life? I'll totally buy that.
