There may be an exception or two if it was just a soloist, but haven't they been doing the Broadway excerpts like this for decades?
The conditions are already onerous, being out in the cold and wearing short-sleeved shirts and chinos, that to make them sing live, even if it would work better than pre-recording, would be cruel.
I thought all the shows I saw this morning accomplished it very well. Especially Noah Galvin, having only been doing the show a few days. |
