They're wearing their own clothes, not the costumes from the show, although with the addition of the understudies, I don't think they could have worn the costumes without it being confusing.
The lip - synching is unavoidable in this setting, but I don't think it helped. It looked a little in the beginning like Noah Galvin was slightly off, almost like he was waiting to hear his voice before starting the miming on each line. |
