| Clearly the kids will not be on Telecharge, but as the parent of two kids I do look for shows that I can take them to. I would not have even considered taking them to Sponge Bob until the Macy's number -- even taking into account the fact that I lower my standards somewhat when thinking about family entertainment (see, for example, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -- ugh). Now I am giving it a rethink, skeptical theatergoer though I am, so I would say that the performance worked! (Although I would still rather take them to Once on This Island.) |
