| I too loved the show when I saw it last May( onMother's day yet)... I thought Penny in my Pocket a charmer, giving us 'more ' of DHP.....But if I remember right, In the Detroit tryout, Penny was going to close Act one, a big production number featuring Horace (David Burns) It was decided(by Mr Champion?) that the act one closer should be by and about Dolly........Have people who saw the show in Detroit posted memories, especially if they saw the Big Penny in your Pocket number.? |
