| Yeah, but Thurman doesn't hold up her end of the bargain -- unless you consider just physically being in the same room with her the whole of it. No presence, no punch. She just looks good. The women of yore that Aleck mentions had actual stage chops. Someone like Cate Blanchett could have made a meal of the role and looked spectacular doing it. |
