I feel like if the score doesn't excite you then you may be at sea (pun intended!). I would tell you to take a listen to some songs like "One Small Girl" and "Rain" and "Pray" and "Waiting For Life" and "Forever Yours" and "Mama Will Provide"...
if you don't get excited to see it from that then maybe don't. But also, it sounds like this production is quite different than the original. So if you think the piece is at all worth revisiting with a different vision then why not see it? |
