When Raquel Welch assumed the lead in Woman of the Year they still used the full length portrait of Lauren Bacall in her apartment set. My friend joked that Tess Harding must be a big Raquel Welch fan.
I was more focused on the use of the Universal Studios intro when Holiday Inn was made by Paramount Pictures. But when MCA bought the Paramount library it became their property. The opening credits even refer to it as a Universal film. But Universal backed the show and that explains a lot. |
