The play gave me lots of think about. I look forward to Guirgis' upcoming productions at Signature!
This recent Theater Talk episode featured Guirgis discussing Jesus Hopped the A Train, religion, and how much he misses his friend Philip Seymour Hoffman, who directed the first run of the play. I found the interview fascinating. Here's the link:
