The last day for Grammy eligibility is usually Sept 30, and Sunday in the Park came out on Sept 22. So I'm pretty sure it was eligible this year. I have not heard the album, but people on the other board are raving about it (and also sharply criticizing the quality of the recording of Hello Dolly!, which they say does not reflect well the production at all).
