Odd that you seem to think she can have an opinion but I can't. As should be obvious, it is my opinion that she is wrong in hers.
I stand by my statement that as we age we do not think as clearly. I know very few people who do not consider that a fact but you are welcome to believe otherwise. It is not an insult to grow old. The thinking I was referring to was not about the substance (generationally influenced or otherwise) but about engaging the editing function in one's voice.
This obscures the real point I was both making and confirming, that there is no reason the opinions of famous people should be of interest to the rest of us, any more than the opinion of a nobody. There is a lot of hagiography around here that I find pretty silly at least when it doesn't relate to the person's talent. |
