| Finally saw this revival this afternoon and was really impressed. I didn't think Michael Urie would make me forget Harvey,but he's splendid in the role-the best I've ever seen him. As for Mercedes Ruehl,it's a sin that she hasn't been on a New York stage for so long;she is spectacular! She had the audience eating out of her hand whether she had us laughing,getting enraged or just breaking our hearts. So many wonderful moments from a perfect cast-every one has a chance to shine.This season has been so disappointing,but this production is pure gold-try to see it before it closes on the 9th! |
