I also thought that there was a sense that the son was flirting with Ed. Was that true in the original version? If they had cast the son as someone who looked 15, his flirting with someone over twice his age, who wasn't exactly shutting it down, would have been disturbing.
Maybe Roy Moore should be cast as Ed in the next revival! |
