| Saw this last night. There’s something about the writing that is intriguing. But it needed a strong director and a dramaturge. It seemed to lack cohesion and guidance. It had so many ideas and there are several excellent performances from Tara Benko, Danny Burstein and Max Gordon Moore. Also, I don’t know if some actors were directed to be cartoonish, but they were. I was confused throughout and not in a good way. I heard this was done at the Alley Theater, I wonder if that director had a better handle on the play. |
