Kristin Chenoweth was in a short-lived off-Broadway musical called "Box Office of the Damned" in 1994. It must have been her first New York credit, as only regional work is mentioned in her Playbill bio -- which also notes "she received the 'Most Talented Young Singer' Award at the Metropolitan Opera auditions."
