Stage dooring in the West End never seems like it does on Broadway. (maybe it is the rain?)
I once waited for Jessica Lange after The Glass Menagerie. I usually don't wait but I really was curious to see Lange. There was nobody there hardly. She came out and signed and then got in a car but it was surprisingly low key. She asked me where I was from after hearing my American accent and then I commented about the lack of a crowd and she responded that yes they don't seem to wait as much here as they do in NYC. |
