| . . . it charms the ear, entertains, and pleases the audience. Those are exactly the things that a musical is supposed to be doing. Writing musicals isn't a race to see who can tell the story the fastest. So all the songs listed below that people say they love but feel are "unnecessary" are not at all unnecessary. They made you love them, didn't they? |
