Broadway Grosses 12/3 — Down 23% from Thanksgiving, plus Bruce Springsteen took last week off

  • Last week, which ended December 3, Broadway grosses totaled $29,982,847 for 30 shows.

    In the prior week, which ended November 26 and included the four-day Thanksgiving weekend, Broadway grosses totaled $39,079,348 for 31 shows.

    In the comparable week last year, Broadway grosses totaled $29,035,904 for 33 shows.





  • Broadway grosses were way down by over 23% from the spectacular showing in the prior Thanksgiving holiday week with almost every show declining.

    It did not help that the high-grossing Springsteen on Broadway took the week off.

    Attendance: 242,528 or 84.54% seat occupancy
