I see that this good play is not very popular. I enjoyed it -- but I really like Brian Friel. It's another of those Irish plays about the bitterness between the occupying British land owners and the Irish peasants who work for them. This play really helps you (me) understand the hatred and the dependence of the two factions. Interested theater goers should not miss this work.
