It was a wonderful evening! The songs really stand up - would love to see a full stage production of this.
Brooke Shields and Dana Ivey brought down the house in their cutting duet, “There Are Those.”
Nicholas Barasch is so delightful on stage. His voice soared in the “Detroit” number, and he’s such an efficient, funny actor. I think we’re gonna see more great things from him.
It was a treat to see Lesley Ann Warren and Joyce Bulifant reprise their material from the film. Their dorm room duet was a hoot - and Lesley Ann pulled out a couple of high kicks!
