| Producer Ben Bagley changed that lyric to "a lark who is learning to prey" and said he was shocked that there was such a bloodthirsty lyric in a family show. The Nature imagery in so many of Hammerstein's lyrics isn't every one's cup of tea.I am unable to be objective about the 1st cast album of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. I got it as a Christmas present, 1959, ; It was the first album that didn't have to go back the Library after two weeks I stil have the album. I still miss album covers/ |
