| I think "reaching from a check" is hilarious. We all know people who also order the most expensive things on the menu and then suggest splitting the bill evenly, regardless of what others ordered, while some other's peccadillo is trying to get out of paying altogether. Joey's not a sport, not a big spender, basically, and he'll try to get away from the table when it comes time to pay the check, is partly what I get from that lyric. Hell, he's Vera's all-expenses-paid-for stud muffin. He's gonna reach FOR a check? Au contraire. |
