Maybe even the sorrowful precis that Sally and most of the audience doesn't understand the word "avers".

BTW - I tend to think that for most people unfamiliar with the song, they'd be mostly hearing and processing the "ideal / YOU deal" wordplay, and might even miss the "avers" thing entirely. ;-) |
