I really wonder: was she stuck with two horrors--or did the writers just sort of give in and default to the "place holders" to keep the peace? After seeing her face as she tried to sing "Who Would Have Dreamed?" in Woman of the Year, I get the feeling that Kander and Ebb sort of checked out of the equation. Agree that K&E wrote some fun stuff for the show.

"Something Greater"--a tone-deaf message for the era.
