I have a similar feeling. There may be some lyrics we don't like in some of the "Loveland" songs, but I think it's easier to justify them as lyrics in fantasy songs written for a fantasy performance in the fantasy world, rather than as words the actual characters of Phyllis, Ben, Sally, and Buddy would use in their real lives. |
