At least the new title song has that K&E pep and catchy zing. The old one struck one of the most lugubrious notes ever to start a show. The revised one still has ... that ending. But it's not larded with all of that bold-faced name esoterica ("Saw La Scala walkout by Callas. Took tea with Gertrude and Alice. And if you knew Neru, like I knew Neru, oh, oh what a girl!")
