Come to think of it, practically all of Tess' songs have that bold faced-name esoterica. The new title song might be a bit more tuneful but I love the original song in the overture, etc.

It also sounds like Ebb just went with the dummy lyrics that he intended to improve—or this was pulled out of the trunk. “Photos of Niagara on the shelf”? Starkers in a Playboy Centerfold? “Push” and “Tush”? I think he rhymes “sale” and “percale.”?

My recollection is that the “Nine” tour was set in a train station instead of the spa in order to make the actual set more touring friendly. I don’t think the tour lasted long.
