Saw the musical on Saturday night and also saw the movie within the last two weeks on cable. It was surprised about how nearly identical in dialogue the musical was to the movie. It seemed that the only thing that was added was the songs. Maybe it was not a good idea to see the movie before the musical because every scene except for the songs was seemingly a replay of the movie which I had etched in my memory.
Overall, it was a pleasant musical, but not the best musical that many theatergoers contend. |
