Well, "Beast" might have had a better chance if it had been a better film, but I found that it was rather cheesy and the musical numbers were awkward... at least until I turned it off. Maybe it gets better?
Super thrilled to see Martin McDonagh's "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" on this list. It's such a great piece of writing, managing to show his roots in the theater while also honoring the needs of a well made film. I'm hoping to get back and see it again. |
