That's sort of what "Marie Christine" does, except that Marie is telling a complete story - "this is how I met my lover, killed my brothers, was abandoned, and got my revenge" - whereas the OP seems to be offering an anthology of plays that are connected by a framing narration.
Without knowing more about the story of the play in question, it's hard to give a more accurate reference. "Kane" is more about an outside observer solving a mystery of someone's life; if that's a sufficient model to the OP, they could also look at the film "Immortal Beloved". |
