I find that very hard to believe. That would be quite a penny in his pocket!
I think with its total $78 million gross to date for 38 playing weeks, this DOLLY revival has taken in more money than the original production did for its entire seven year run!
IIRC, the sellout original at the St. James grossed about $72k per week at capacity. I may be off slightly. |
