I will probably see this play so hopefully no spoilers...just deciding if I should plonk down my $89. Skim reading comments elsewhere seem to be negative because it is wordy and "just three people round a kitchen table" while others touch upon it perhaps being disheartening to older viewers. To add other viewpoints do people think these comments are valid? Is all the wordiness at least interesting? Are the characters well drawn?
I started to read some professional reviews and gave up because they seemed to be full of spoilers. The Ny Times review of the London run has a sentence that discusses the final scene for example. |
