The surface is not what it is really about and beneath it the comment on current divisions in society is something that will probably split audiences. If the audience is older (the London audience was mixed) and more conservative (the Royal Court is very liberal) then those who think millennials and such have it okay will dislike its attitude to the baby boomer generation.
Here in the UK, especially after pensioners delivered a Brexit vote that will likely affect younger generations prospects badly, it's very much accepted that generational differences are a major issue leading to generational breakdown (although not, unsurprisingly, by those Brexit delivering voters).
