Your clothes may be a bit tight Backer won his Tony in 1981 and Miller won his four years later in 1985. You are correct that both have seemed to disappear not long after their wins.
I find it interesting that all three featured actors in the Neil Simon trilogy won Tonys. Matthew Broderick won for Brighton Beach Memoirs, Miller won for Biloxi Blues and John Randolph won for Broadway Bound. Kevin Spacey also won for Simon's Lost in Yonkers a couple years later. |
