| I can see admiring their acting as similarly exquisite, but in my opinion Evan Hansen is way more difficult to sing than Dina is. Maybe it's just that Katrina Lenk made it look so effortless, but are there really challenging songs for Dina, vocally? Not that the Tonys necessarily go to the role most vocally challenging, but I think for a lot of folks what impressed so much about Ben Platt was his sheer ability to sing it with such gusto night after night. |
