Good for him. However, I notice this release does not make any mention of who his replacement on the tour will be. Joshua Henry (Burr) and Jordan Donica (Lafeyette/Jefferson) on tour also have upcoming Broadway roles in Carousel and My Fair Lady, respectively. Since I will be seeing an upcoming performance of the tour, I would love to know who I'll be seeing in it. The show's the thing, so on on hand it doesn't matter who the cast is, but of course it matters because each performer is a unique individual who will bring their own qualities and interpretation to the roles.
It seems to me that new casting for the touring production needs to be announced shortly. |
