I am not very interested in seeing this movie, but trailers for it remind me of talk a few years back of Jackman starring in a Broadway musical about Houdini. Jackman always seemed too tall and Waspy to play Houdini, but Efron, who looks a bit like the young Tony Curtis, would be perfect. I haven't seen many of his movies, they just don't appeal to me, but in the one I did see (on an airplane), it was obvious he is a good actor who would probably shine if given good material.

The Greatest Showman doesn't seem bad, actually, but it seems more like a good family film than a good film.

I wonder when they filmed this; I work right there & completely missed it.

Best part was Efron riding the tricycle during The Greatest Showman sequence.

Pretty sure he was kidding. If I recall correctly, it was said in jest during the very funny Corden "Crosswalk" video.

I'm tuned in to Tonight's James Cordon show & there was a commercial for the Barnum movie-It looks like the Aussie movie Moulin Rouge. My question is .why didn't they buy the rights to BARNUM, which IMO has a wonderful score?

Because "Barnum" is a mediocre show at best and has never been revived in thirty years for a reason.
