It's time America embraced complete colorblind casting

As a multi-ethnic society, shouldn't we work towards becoming a completely color-blind society?

The theatre is an excellent place to start.

I recently went back to see Hello, Dolly! and felt that each role could have been played by any ethnicity.

Even plays that are based on historical events and characters should be played by the best people for those roles without regards to color.

Hamilton showed us that we won't blink an eye when a black Thomas Jefferson shows up. Heck, even a white king in The King and I will work fine.

One thing we would have to make sure is that all ethnicities remain portrayed. We can't have all the black and Asian roles just go to white actors.
