In the revised version of the script for ACL, when Al introduces himself, there's a note in brackets, not parentheses like a regular stage direction. It reads: "[pumps the air--not in PB]"
Later, after Diana's intro, this note appears: "[pumps to mock AL--not in PB]"
I get the air pumps, of course, but can anyone tell me what "not in PB" means?
There isn't a note like this in the original version as far as I can tell.
I REALLY hope it's not something super obvious so that I'm embarrassed afterwards!
