| With so many musicals worthy of Encores 'productions', why are they inventing a mish mash? Let me see - SARATOGA, REDHEAD, FLORA THE RED MENACE, DEAREST ENEMY, I'D RATHER BE RIGHT, BY JUPITER, REX, RED HOT AND BLUE, DUBARRY WAS A LADY, HIT THE DECK - I;m sure that all that chatters could add 50+ shows to this list ... | |

| PS - They DID Dubarry, and it, along with New Faces of 1937, was my least favorite. | |

| The Encores administrators have been completely up front about this - it's to save money. I know for old shows, one of the biggest expenses is the restoration of the original score, but that shouldn't really be an issue for shows from the last 50 or so years. But as a subscriber, I was well informed there would be a revue this season (it's not the first time), and I'm glad it will at least be a starry affair. | |

| "DuBarry Was a Lady" was done by Encores in 1996. Unless you're asking for an encore of an Encore.... | |
