I don't believe that's correct. Chakiris is an ensemble dancer in several movies of the mid-1950s (including the "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend"number in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES), but I'm pretty sure he's not in FLOWER DRUM SONG, which was actually released the same year as WEST SIDE STORY (1961). |
